Building support from corporate and foundation partners is vital to enabling students to achieve their academic goals, provide resources necessary for long term growth of the Foundation’s programming and outreach to a underserved and underrepresented segment of our community.

Healthcare disparities is a vast topic and the J.W. Vines Medical Foundation’s mission is to provide mentoring and educational opportunities through programs, financial assistance and services necessary for African American students desiring careers in the medical and health sciences profession.

By developing and maintaining comprehensive partnerships with corporations and foundations, the Foundation will raise the expectations, create better futures and increase the diversity of students entering the health care profession … so they in turn can better address the needs of the communities we serve.

Private support has never been more important. The funds found within this website provide support for student aid, program support, facilities and equipment we encourage you to support the Foundation’s efforts in assisting young people “stay the course” and make their dreams become a reality.
